Job Description

Summary:
Join our dynamic team at a leading manufacturing and logistics facility in Virginia. The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator plays a critical role in overseeing and enhancing our site’s EH&S systems. This position involves administrative, analytical, and program leadership tasks, including managing KPIs, ISO certification programs, chemical/SDS management, safety committees, training coordination, and regulatory compliance documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer EH&S programs and maintain performance tracking.
  • Prepare reports for the Leadership Team.
  • Manage incident reporting and root cause analysis.
  • Lead and coordinate ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification processes.
  • Oversee chemical approval processes and maintain SDS databases.
  • Facilitate Safety Committee meetings and lead EH&S team huddles.
  • Coordinate and track required regulatory training.
  • Conduct facility safety inspections and respond to incidents.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of EH&S experience in industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA 1910 General Industry standards.
  • Experience with documentation control and safety program administration.
  • Proficient in Excel and incident management software.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Preferred: Experience coordinating ISO certification.
  • Preferred: Experience leading Safety Committees or EH&S initiatives.
  • Preferred Certifications: ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Internal Auditor Certification, OSHA 30 – General Industry, First Aid/CPR/AED.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $34.00 - $34.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
