Job Description

As a key player in shaping demand forecasts and driving business performance, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team, dive into exciting retail trends, and ensure our products reach eager shoppers everywhere!
** This is a temporary position with a duration of approximately 6 months based on business needs. **
Core Responsibilities:
Item Planning: Own a subset of the LEGO Retail portfolio, delivering a robust item-level CS forecast each cycle. Incorporating the latest trends and inputs to contribute to an SI forecast, including WOC settings for a full 18-month horizon
S&OP Cycle: Lead / contribute to the various AMS meetings within the monthly S&OP cycle, including local input discussions and novelty benchmarking forums
Commercial: Engage with partners across LEGO Retail to articulate performance & outlook for subset of portfolio. Represent AMS planning team in the Consumer Performance Huddle working closely with LBR/LEGO.COM channel owners to drive LEGO Retail KPI’s.
Reporting & analysis: Analyze and understand drivers of retail performance with a focus on improving Item Mix error. Leverage own reports (Tableau/Power BI) in combination with BI produced insights, to help improve the quality of forward-looking plans.
Collaboration & Coherence: Ability to integrate/distill marketing insights/activity at a theme/channel level in to an item level forecast. Discuss and present data and findings with RPMI team and relevant partners to secure an aligned view on the best possible plan.
General Support: Support the regional planning team with key monthly tasks, including but not limited to:
Update and issue of standard reports
Preparation of slides for regular monthly meetings
o9 Retail Planning: Drive adoption and contribute to process design for new retail planning system embedding in to monthly planning cycle.

The Retail Planning team is a global group responsible for developing an 18-month demand plan across LEGO-owned branded channels, including both physical stores and online platforms.
This role supports the team and the broader organization by securing a strong foundation for our forecasts, so we have the best possible availability and can reach the desired shoppers. Furthermore, it enables the team and partners with insight to performance and trends so appropriate actions can be taken timely.
Do you have what it takes?
Proven experience working in a planning role in a retail environment.
Strong proficiency in analyzing retail sales trends, inventory data & shopper behavior & converting to an item level CS forecast.
Experience working with qualitative input (marketing) & converting to actionable data for decision making.
Demonstrates a clear understanding of how a retailer operates (both physical & digital) and can articulate underlying drivers of business performance & health.
Skilled and confident presenter, adept at articulating viewpoints clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
Proficiency in the use of forecasting models & their application for retail planning e.g ML, Time Series.
Strong understanding of consumer trends & market dynamics in a retail environment with a shopper focus.
Proficient in Tableau and Power BI, with expertise in configuring and creating insightful reports.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions, cultures, and management levels; recognized as an excellent teammate.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify key insights and trends.
Advanced English both verbal and written.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $107,885.00 - $161,827.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
