OVERVIEW
The Marathon Petroleum Company (MPC) Anacortes Refinery is seeking a Project Controls Manager to provide leadership and oversight for project controls activities supporting Routine Maintenance, Major Maintenance Programs, Turnarounds, Construction, Engineering Projects, and Budget Coordination. This position is responsible for the development, management, and reporting of budgets, estimates, schedules, and cost controls to ensure the maintenance and engineering portfolio, TAR events are executed within approved financial targets.
The Project Controls Manager ensures consistency and accuracy in project controls reporting across the site while driving continuous improvement in processes, tools, and performance metrics. This role partners closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Supply Chain, and Accounting to deliver timely, data‑driven insights that support decision‑making and risk management related to cost and schedule. The position reports to the site Maintenance Director.
