Description:

Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to achieve a high standard of cleanliness. Also assists and is an integral part of the facilities infection control program. Interacts directly with patients, staff and visitors on a daily basis.

Status: Casual, as needed

What you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• On the job training experience preferred.
• Healthcare housekeeping experience preferred.

What you will do:

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas using the seven step cleaning procedure.
• Disinfect and make beds upon discharge and transfer
• Perform cleaning projects such as walls, windows, furniture and fixtures.
• Maintains environmental services equipment.
