Our Lady of Mercy - Day Shift - Per Diem

We are seeking an individual to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. If you are an energetic individual and are seeking opportunities for growth and development, this is the position for you.

What you will do:

Performs linen handling functions including cart preparation, distribution of clean linen to user departments, pack making and soiled linen pick-up.

Responsibilities:

  • Fill linen carts
  • Deliver linen carts to various floors or locations
  • Pick up heavy soiled linen from the various floors
  • Fill and load machines in various locations
  • Utilizing laundry machines correctly
  • Cleaning linen carts
  • Other duties as assigned

What you will need:

  • Must have 3 years of laundry cleaning experience
  • Must be able to lift heavy soiled laundry
  • Computer knowledge desired

Pay Range: $16.20 - $19.74

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
