Description:

  • Hospital drug distribution, including accurately filling floor stock and Pyxis stock, fill lists and restocking.
  • Delivering medications and IVs to the nursing units.
  • All returned medications and IV solutions (if appropriate) are credited in an accurate and timely fashion. All patient charges are current.
  • Unit dose packaging of oral and IV medications.
  • Work under the direct supervision of the pharmacist.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Florida.
  • Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician, or willing to become certified within the first 90 days.
