MacNeal's Labor and Delivery department consists of nine labor and delivery suites, a two-bed triage area along with two operating room suites. The department has 24/7 in-house support from OB physicians, pediatric hospitalists, and anesthesia.
The Labor and Delivery team is comprised of registered nurses, certified scrub techs, OB attending physicians, pediatric hospitalists and residents to provide care to pregnant women within our labor and delivery/obstetric emergency department.

What Registered Nurse RN will need:
A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
1 year of previous inpatient nursing experience required (1 year of previous Labor and Delivery nursing experience preferred)
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $44.47-$52.25 depending on registry commitment
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
