Description:

Saint Mary’s Hospital, a proud member of Trinity Health Of New England, is a recognized leader in Rehabilitation Care. We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our newly renovated Outpatient Rehab Clinic located in Naugatuck.

In this role, you will focus on treating patients with neurological diagnoses and play a key part in developing and expanding a new line of neurological rehabilitation services. We are seeking a passionate and skilled PT who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to help shape the future of outpatient neuro rehab care.

What will you do: 

  • Evaluates, directs, plans, and treats patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help clients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.
  • Develops and conducts a variety of techniques and modalities to provide individualized treatment appropriate to established goals.
  • Modifies treatment plans and goals due to changes in client status and capabilities.
  • Maintains appropriate communication with treatment team, physicians, clients, and/or family members to facilitate problem solving, program planning and education.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy
  • Current State of CT license.
  • Previous professional experience required
  • Ability to clearly explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to clients and their families.
