Description:

Saint Francis Hospital is looking for a Unit Support Tech, supporting the Women and Infants Division, to join our team of mission-driven healthcare caretakers. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors.

What you will do

  • Maintain the order and cleanliness of the Women & Infants Division, including Labor & Delivery (L&D), NICU, and Maternity. 
  • Works under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Works in partnership with the Environmental Services team to maintain room and unit cleanliness.
  • Some duties include, but are not limited to, stocking of supplies, cleaning of medical equipment (i.e. isolettes, fetal heart rate monitors, etc.), cleaning of the L&D operating rooms, secretarial duties, transporting specimens, and transferring of patients and babies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:  High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Ability to pass drug screening and background check

Position Highlights and Benefits

  • Full-Time, 32 hours day shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) must work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled.
