Position Summary:
Join our Appointment Center team to ensure accurate scheduling and exceptional patient experiences. In this vital role, you will coordinate outpatient procedures, verify insurance and authorizations, and provide patients with clear instructions and financial information—all while delivering outstanding customer service.

What You Will Do:
Accurately schedule outpatient procedures and confirm details with patients and physician offices
Provide clear exam preparation instructions to ensure optimal results
Verify insurance benefits, obtain prior authorizations, and check medical necessity using ICD-10 and CPT codes
Deliver accurate price quotes and inform patients of estimated financial responsibility
Maintain registration accuracy and ensure compliance with Medicare and CMS guidelines
Act as liaison between physician offices and clinical staff for complex scheduling needs
Participate in departmental initiatives, mentoring, and process improvement projects
What You Will Need:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3–5 years of experience in a healthcare setting; scheduling experience preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and third-party payer regulations
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and scheduling systems
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to calculate co-pays, deductibles, and provide accurate financial estimates
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in patient access or appointment coordination
Familiarity with Medicare compliance and insurance authorization processes
