Urgent Care Lead Medical Assistant – Lead with Compassion and Clinical Excellence

As a Lead Medical Assistant, you’ll support both patients and providers by preparing for office visits, managing clinical workflows, and ensuring accurate documentation. You’ll also help coordinate communication, prioritize tasks, and promote a positive, efficient care environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms and ensure patients are ready for exams or minor procedures

• Escort patients, obtain medical history, and document vital signs and relevant information in the EMR

• Serve as a scribe during exams, accurately recording provider-patient interactions

• Process lab and diagnostic results, ensuring timely review and documentation

• Coordinate patient flow and collaborate with front desk staff to maintain efficiency

• Assist with scheduling, phone calls, and administrative support as needed

• Promote quality care through attention to detail and patient-centered service

What You Bring

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a clinical setting (required)

• Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting; National Certification a plus

• Strong communication, multitasking, and leadership skills

• A commitment to teamwork and delivering excellent patient care
