What you will do:

The Registered Ultrasonographer is responsible for the performance, measurement and calculation of ultrasound studies. Completes a concise summary of the findings for use by the interpreting cardiologist. Prioritizes studies to ensure timeliness of patient care. Maintains working knowledge of all systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre Procedural Prep
  • Accurately enters data
  • Performs echocardiography to include M-mode, 2-D, Doppler as indicated
  • Assists MD and other staff with TEES, Stress echo, Pharmacology studies
  • Obtains proper views as indicated
  • Utilizes settings/techniques to enhance image clarity for optimal MD review
  • Post Procedural Charting and documentation

What you will need:

  • 2-3 years of hospital or office based ultrasonographer
  • Associates Degree required, BA Preferred
  • Current ARDMS registration
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs.

Pay Range: $36.00 – $52.45

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
