This position will be in our Free Standing Emergency Room located in Deerfield Beach -Opening May 2026

This is salaried position

The Radiology Supervisor will supervise approximately 21-25 Diagnostic Imaging Techs including Ultrasound, Radiology and CT. The Supervisor will spend approximately 80% of their time performing Supervisory duties and the remaining time performing clinical duties.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Assigns, directs and schedules the day-to-day work of assigned staff in the Diagnostic Imaging Department of the freestanding emergency department; arranges and makes room assignments; establishes and coordinates schedules; monitors and makes staffing assignments to ensure appropriate coverage on a day-to-day basis; organizes the daily workload for assigned work unit(s).
  • Monitors and evaluates the work of assigned subordinate employees; establishes employee performance expectations, objectives and goals; monitors and reviews the quality and quantity of employee work; initiates and implements disciplinary action if necessary.
  • Orients and trains new employees on departmental policies and procedures and the proper use of diagnostic imaging equipment; develops in-service training programs to help staff maintain competency and/or to learn how to use new procedures/equipment; ensures that all assigned staff have the required core competencies.
  • Coaches and encourages staff in a manner that fosters a teamwork approach to resolving disputes; facilitates good working relationships between department personnel and other employees, including physician staff.

Education/License/Certification Requirements

  • A Florida CRT license is required.
  • ARRT is required.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.

Licensure

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 5 years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • Experience as a lead, supervisor, or manager highly preferred.
