Description:

This position provides patient care for patients in Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Prep/Recovery.  RN manages patient care pre and post procedure. Registered Nurse with inpatient and Cardiac experience preferred.

What you will need:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school program
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) candidates must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete the degree within 4 years of hire
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Michigan
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. 
• Specialty nursing certification relevant to the clinical practice area preferred.
• Experience in an acute health care setting

What you will do:

• Provide care for an outpatient Heart & Vascular procedural population, including interventional Radiology, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Neuro-Interventional, Electrophysiology, and Pain procedures
• Conduct case reviews and complete chart preparation 1-2 days prior to scheduled procedures
• Perform pre-procedure patient care, assessments, and accurate clinical documentation
• Deliver post procedure patient care, assessments, and required documentation on the day of the procedure
• Complete post-procedure follow-up phone calls to assess patient status and address questions or concerns.
