Loyola Medicine is seeking an experienced Transplant Quality Administrator to provide strategic leadership for quality, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance across our solid‑organ transplant and ventricular assist device (VAD) programs. This role is essential to sustaining exceptional patient outcomes and ensuring continuous compliance with CMS, UNOS/OPTN, INTERMACS, and The Joint Commission standards.

Position Summary

The Transplant Quality Administrator is responsible for directing the quality infrastructure that supports Loyola Medicine’s transplant and ventricular assist device (VAD) programs. This role oversees the systems, processes, and performance standards that ensure high‑reliability care delivery across all transplant services. Working collaboratively with clinical, operational, and organizational quality leaders, the Transplant Quality Administrator drives data‑informed decision‑making, maintains regulatory readiness, and facilitates the execution of improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety, program outcomes, and operational effectiveness within the academic medical center.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Transplant & VAD QAPI Program, driving quality improvement across all organ programs
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, analyze performance data, and guide improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate regulatory readiness, including CMS, UNOS/OPTN, INTERMACS, and TJC surveys
  • Oversee data submission to UNet, SRTR, INTERMACS, and internal reporting systems
  • Develop dashboards, outcome reports, and quality metrics for leadership
  • Educate and mentor clinical teams on quality methods, compliance, and best practices
  • Partner closely with transplant physicians, nursing leaders, and hospital quality teams

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 5–7 years of healthcare quality management experience
  • Minimum 3 years in transplant, VAD, or another highly regulated clinical specialty
  • Strong knowledge of CMS, UNOS/OPTN, SRTR, INTERMACS, and TJC standards
  • Proven experience leading QAPI and compliance initiatives in a complex setting

Additional Qualifications (nice to have)

  • Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, MPH, or similar)
  • CPHQ or equivalent quality certification
  • Experience in multi‑organ transplant and mechanical circulatory support programs

Pay Range: $110,200 - $183,600 Annualized

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
