OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - Per Diem - Sunnyview Rehab Hospital - Schenectady, NY

What you will do:

  • Will be responsible for direct patient care, evaluation and implementation of programs designed to improve patients' functional independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques. Establish, implement, and adapt an individualized treatment plan of care (including appropriate goal setting, treatment activities and frequency).
  • Document accurately, completely, and timely.

What you will need:

  • Demonstration of at least entry level professional competency of Occupational Therapy practice, theory, principles and applications
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • NYS OT license are required
  • Must function well within a team concept of rehabilitation professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility and exceptional clinical reasoning skills are essential.

PER DIEM RATE IS $50.00/hour

Pay Range: (experience based range for Full-Time or Part-Time status) $35.85-$45.96 Pay outside of Per Diem rate is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
