Dietary Worker – Part Time – Evenings/Weekends – Queens

Join a dedicated team that plays a vital role in supporting patient care through exceptional service and attention to detail. In this rewarding role, you’ll:

• Prepare and serve meals that meet patients’ dietary needs
• Build positive relationships with patients and families
• Maintain cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen, cafeteria, tray line, and dishwashing areas

Registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund is necessary.

Schedule:

• Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Typical hours: 3:45pm–7:45pm, 4:00pm–8:00pm, or 12:00pm–8:00pm.
• Weekend availability is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service
• Strong customer service background with a commitment to putting patients first
• Experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail settings

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Comfortable using kitchen equipment (dishwasher, cleaning tools, serving utensils, toasters)
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods

Salary Range:

$23.47-$25.55/Hourly
