What you will do:
The Pratt & Whitney Global Distribution and Logistics organization is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our Northeast Logistics Center (NELC) located in Londonderry, NH. The NELC Logistics Principal Specialist is an analyst, specializing in the flow and control of inventory through the production logistics operation. This includes order management, inventory control, warehousing operations, and domestic and international shipment documentation. The selected candidate will work closely with the NELC 3PL, PW finance, global trade, digital technology, internal customers and manufacturing partners.
Problem resolution in all operational areas within the NELC
Providing analysis and reporting to the PW and 3PL Operations team for the purpose of tracking metrics and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Reviewing and approving metric calculations and exceptions
Contributing to the timely and effective identification of root causes and helping to develop corrective actions
Ensuring data integrity throughout the production logistics process
An understanding of ERP, MRP and/or inventory/order management systems
Familiarity with production logistics – supporting manufacturing with parts presentation kitting
An understanding of ITAR and EAR controls as they relate to the control of technical data and hardware
Qualifications you must have:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business, supply chain, or related field and 5 years of experience in manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, finance, or a related field; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience; or 9 years of related experience can be considered.
