Job Description:

   

HPEFS is seeking a Business Development Leader to drive strategic partnerships alignment and new opportunities with HPE to deliver measurable business growth and customer success.  This role will lead HPE Financial Services' integration with HPE to bring innovative financing solutions, IT asset management solutions, sustainability and investment capacity solutions to our customers and partners as well as lead our edge-to-cloud transformation in close collaboration with the HPE global business units and functions.

Responsible for driving best in class integration between HPEFS and the other HPE business units. Actively seeking out new offers, programs and market opportunities to help the mutual growth and profitability of HPEFS and the BU’s we support. Develops & maintains relationships with key BU & Sales leaders to ensure HPEFS is represented consistently and is integrated into product and GTM opportunities.

Devises and executes a measurable growth plan that meets business goals for a given geographic and/or service business area; including accountability for achieving revenue & order targets. Builds high-quality funnels that generate customer demand in partnership with marketing & sales.

Leads a function/department within a multifaceted organization. Responsible for operational success, strategic alignment and integration of activities with other major BUs and GTM functions. Responsible for one or more recognized professional disciplines. Fully accountable for the success of the integration of HPEFS to HPE BU and GTM and other functions as needed. Influences strategy and sets policy and direction. Owns a significant number of measurable functional, operational and strategic goals or priorities. Assumes responsibility for the successful implementation of business plans in a defined area of responsibility. Contributes to the overall strategic definition of a function with strong business acumen. Acts as a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive incremental growth initiatives that support the financial targets for lease origination, lease management and lifecycle services. 
  • Focus on developing and executing alliance strategies with key HPE partners to accelerate market adoption and revenue growth of HPE offerings.  
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for joint solutions, co-selling, and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives. 
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with HPE business units and GTM – especially key leaders. 
  • Ensure alignment to maximize co-sell motions.
  • Track, measure, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for partner success, revenue impact, and pipeline contribution. 
  • Align internal teams and simplify messaging to create clarity and focus, while driving qualified leads through strategic partnerships and tools. 
  • Establish systemic product lifecycle integration with all BU’s including HPE Networking.
  • Expand IT LifeCycle Services (LCS) and financing opportunity for HPE Networking. 
  • Drive a globally consistent experience for managing the full IT lifecycle for HPE GL assets
  • Leverage HPE Services account relationships to grow our LCS business
  • Integrate capabilities into HPE GLP
  • Expand sustainable LCS solutions to grow market share, embedded into HPE Solutions
  • Integrate into HPE’s & Channel Partner processes so that financing is integral and not an add on

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, financial services, or corporate strategy roles within the technology or IT LifeCycle asset management industries.
  • Proven track record of leadership experience in driving strategic partnerships, alliances, and business growth.
  • Experience working in or with global organizations, including influencing cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving financial targets and operational goals.
  • Experience integrating financial solutions into broader business unit strategies or GTM initiatives.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies, market adoption plans, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of financing solutions, IT LifeCycle Services asset management, and sustainability practices in the technology domain.
  • Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and executive leaders.
  • Analytical Skills: Expertise in tracking and measuring KPIs, financial impacts, and pipeline contributions to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Leadership: Experience leading teams, influencing stakeholders across organizational levels, and driving alignment to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to align cross-functional teams and simplify complex initiatives for effective execution.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Innovation: Ability to identify and implement creative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, customer success, and market share.
  • Global Experience: Familiarity with global business practices and driving a consistent experience across regions.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $155,500.00 - $376,000.00
