SciAps, Inc. is a Boston area-based scientific instrument company specializing in high-performance portable analytical instruments. Our mission is to provide best-in-class hand-held instruments to identify compounds, minerals, and elements. The current product portfolio consists of LIBS, XRF, Raman, and NIR technologies.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Inside Sales Support Representative to join our sales team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the sales process, improving operational efficiency, and enabling our sales team to focus on closing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with quoting, solicitations/bids  order processing, and follow-up.

  • Customer Interaction: Serve as a secondary point of contact for customers regarding product information, pricing, lead times, and order status.

  • CRM & Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), including accounts, contacts, opportunities, and activities.

  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, finance, product, and marketing) to ensure alignment and seamless customer experiences.

  • Training & Mentorship: Provide onboarding and training support to new inside sales support staff; share best practices and guidance to elevate team performance.

  • Order Fulfillment: Support sales operations, when necessary, to ensure orders are  processed correctly and efficiently in accordance with company policies and customer requirements.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all deals comply with internal policies and document approvals, contract terms, and pricing rules as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in inside sales support, customer service, or sales operations, preferably in a B2B environment.

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.

  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
