Position Summary

As a Cloud Ops Software Engineering Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This internship offers hands-on experience with cloud technologies, automation tools, and DevOps practices in a fast-paced, enterprise-grade environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues using tools like Azure Monitor, Datadog, or Splunk.
  • Write scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure smooth deployment and scalability of applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Support the migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Basic understanding of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git).
  • Experience with scripting languages (Java, Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
