What You'll Be Doing

Job Scope: The Maintenance and Turnaround Cost Controller is responsible for providing cost tracking, reporting, analyzing, and investigation support for daily Maintenance and Turnarounds, both large and small.

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Support Turnaround Manager with cost estimate development and lead project control activities throughout all phases to ensure proper cost accounting and allocation

• Quality control work orders for correct classifications and billing processed upon work completion to facilitate proper closure

• Own, update, and manage the monthly load plan and expense accruals

• Review and analyze contractor data for discrepancies and investigate accordingly; work with Contractor Administrator to resolve billing issues.

• Investigate discrepancies between planned and actual work and provide leadership with feedback as appropriate.

Ideal Background

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; chemical manufacturing preferred 3+ years of work experience in a Project Controls related role strongly preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrated efficiency with Microsoft Office Products, SAP

• Plant Maintenance experience and knowledge highly preferred

• Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry in excess of 25 lbs.
