Riverside Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Riverside Cancer Care team in Newport News, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced oncology specialists in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

What You’ll Do

• As a Nurse Practitioner on our oncology team, you will:
• Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health assessments
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and manage personalized care plans
• Perform pulmonology consultations
• Counsel patients and families on treatment options and care plans
• Prescribe and evaluate treatments and medications
• Document clinical findings accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cancer care experts

Our Areas of Expertise

You’ll support patients across a range of cancer specialties, including:

• Breast Cancer
• Colon Cancer
• Gynecologic Cancer
• Lung Cancer
• Prostate Cancer

What We’re Looking For

Education & Licensure:

• Nurse Practitioner: Master’s in Nursing, current NP license, and board certification (FNP & PMHNP)
• Eligible for Virginia state medical licensure
• Valid DEA registration

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Experience in oncology or pulmonology preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• A compassionate, team-oriented mindset
