JOB SUMMARY
The Respiratory Care Manager, under the direction of the Service Line Director, Cancer Services, is a licensed Respiratory Therapist who is responsible for the clinical leadership role. Assumes first line managerial responsibilities and reports directly to the Director. Is responsible and accountable for the delivery of care, development of policies and procedures, standards of care and protocols. Assigns, directs, and evaluates the work of the health care providers assigned to a specific area in accordance with the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of Saint Francis Medical Center. Provides strong leadership, motivation, staff development, serves as a resources consultant for their clinical specialty, and works to achieve continuity of care from admission through discharge.JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:
RT Associates Required
Bachelors Preferred
Certification & Licensures:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (LRCP)
CPR Certification Missouri
ACLS Certification Missouri
Experience:
Experience and evidence of clinical competencies for acceptance into role. Managerial experience preferred.
5 years RT Required
