Are you interested in gaining real-world, hands on, project-based experience in Summer 2026? Are you seeking a chance to explore the API and Identity world?

Based in Tysons, VA, you will be part of Swift’s 10-week internship in the API and Identity team. Our team enables cross border transactions through APIs, we manage Swift's API platforms. The roles and responsibilities include development, testing, and operations. If you are interested in learning the API lifecycle management and governance, in addition to the technical skills needed for development and test automation on API Platforms, come and join us!

During your internship, you will work alongside a mentor and with a team who will help you experience how Swift works with its clients to make cross-border payments instant and frictionless.

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Be a rising junior or senior.

Major: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant discipline.

Job Description:

• APIs, access and identity management.
• Build API solutions to empower the API platform products.
• Development work involves all or some of the following: Java, JavaScript, Python.
• UI design and development using frameworks like AngularJs.
• Be part of an agile team, following agile methodology best practices.

Project Description:

• Migrating RichFaces to PrimeFaces.
• Front end development using PrimeFaces
• API Operational Excellence.
