Join ProAg as a strategic Product Manager.

ProAg seeks a strategic and detail-oriented Product Manager to lead the lifecycle and policy management of assigned crop insurance products, including Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) and private products. This role ensures that ProAg's MPCI and private products are compliant, competitive, and profitable, align with the business model, and meet the needs of agents and growers to make crop insurance easy.

As the Product Manager, you’ll:

Product Performance & Strategy:
Manage crop insurance product adoption, policy, and profitability. Drive enhancements to policy language and processes to improve performance. Contribute to developing new products and private product innovations that meet evolving market needs, profitability, and business models. Set the direction and monitor product performance, addressing any gaps and adjusting the policy and application of the policy.

Field & Agent Insights:
Gather and analyze feedback from agents and field teams to inform product improvements and strategic direction.

Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work closely with actuarial teams to understand risk models, pricing strategies, and ROI projections. Strong collaborator with underwriting, claims, sales, product teams, and IT to support seamless product execution and delivery.

Regulatory Compliance:
Partner with compliance teams to ensure alignment with the Risk Management Agency (RMA) and state regulations. This role requires a broad and deep understanding of crop insurance products and how they align with ProAg's strategic direction.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Understand and prepare P&L product portfolio, performance reports, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in product management or related fields, crop insurance experience strongly preferred, and 3 years of leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in MPCI programs, USDA RMA guidelines, and private crop insurance offerings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Agriculture, Business, a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience.
• Strategic thinker with a product mindset and strong analytical skills.
• Proven success as a decision-maker in a collaborative, highly matrixed environment with direct and indirect organizational reporting structures.
• Experience in both B2B and B2B2C digital product delivery
• Agile and curious, passionate about uncovering insights and driving innovation.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator across diverse teams.
