Job Summary: Generally responsible for performing construction coordination for small to moderate construction assignments. This work will be performed under general supervision.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Extensive knowledge of construction safety requirements, with a commitment to a zero accidents environment.
Ability to ensure contractor’s activities are planned and executed in a safe and efficient manner.
Working closely with the construction contractor to plan and coordinate daily field and construction tasks and logistical activities.
Serve as the “first line” coordinator for all contractor activities.
Monitoring contractor performance against contract milestones and completion dates as well as performance as it relates to the other activities on-site to identify conflicts or potential delays.
Developing work-around plans to mitigate conflicts or delays in concert with other construction coordinators

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field from an accredited university is preferred.
Licensing: No licensing is required for this position.
Experience: This position requires a minimum 5 years of relevant industrial construction coordination and administration experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to design and implement safety programs emergency response plans, and hazard control systems Identify and evaluate workplace hazards
Experience conducting safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards
Communication and interpersonal skills (frequent interaction with leadership, frontline staff, contractors)
Active presence within working areas Daily reporting
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
Ability to perform work outdoors in hot or cold climates.
Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment such as a fire-retardant jumpsuit, safety glasses, ear plugs, and hard hat.
