Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our Ashland Ingredients Poland Sp. z o.o. business at our Warsaw, Poland site. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Supply Chain function. This position will report to Customer Service Supervisor. This is a hybrid role.


The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
•    Manage sales orders end to end (order entry, confirmation, changes, delivery coordination, and billing) in SAP
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers regarding orders, deliveries, and documentation
•    Coordinate with Planning, Warehousing, Logistics, and External Forwarders to ensure on-time and compliant shipments
•    Ensure accuracy of shipping, commercial, and regulatory documentation (e.g. Invoice, DN, CMR, CoA, export documents)
•    Proactively manage order exceptions, delays, short shipments, and damages, escalating when needed
•    Support credit/debit note processing in cooperation with Finance and Sales
•    Maintain accurate master data and order data in SAP and related systems
•    Handle customer communications professionally, ensuring timely and clear responses
•    Contribute to process improvements, standardization, and knowledge sharing within the team
•    Ensure compliance with EHS, SOX, and internal control requirements

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
•    Language skills: English written and spoken
•    Previous experience in Customer Service or related areas
•    Customer service-oriented attitude
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Experienced in using Microsoft Windows applications
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with complex business scenarios
•    High level of attention detail and strong problem-solving skills
•    Solid compliance and process management skills
•    Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all times
•    The ability to help the company drive greater value through understanding the business, making complex decisions and creating the new and different
 

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
•    Experience with ERP Systems preferably SAP
•    Commercial insight
•    Affinity with administrative activities
•    Team player, multitasking ability
•    Export knowledge is a plus
