Responsibilities
Oaktree is seeking an associate to work within the Global Opportunities Group for a 2-year program. These include providing proprietarily originated capital solutions in structured and risk-controlled ways to borrowers with limited access to funding; buying assets in out-of-favor industries; and creating platforms with superior management teams who seek to exploit attractive undervalued, niche, and/or dislocation-driven opportunities. The strategy has also expanded its geographic footprint in recent decades to include more countries and regions with established legal systems and restructuring regimes.
