Position Summary

The Senior Manager Operational Excellence, Systems and Transformation plays a central role in designing enterprise capabilities that elevate performance, strengthen operational consistency, and enhance patient experience. This is an opportunity to operate at the intersection of data, operations, and technology, solving some of the most complex challenges in home-based healthcare and shaping the frameworks that redefine how care is delivered. This role transforms legacy and highly variable processes into disciplined, technology-enabled operating models built for enterprise performance and long-term growth. Partnering with external vendors and internal technical resources, this leader guides structured vendor selection processes, establishes configuration standards, and defines the operational blueprint that enables consistent execution across a national platform. Travel required approximately 35%.

Position Specific Responsibilities

  • Define enterprise workflow requirements for prioritized Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Lead structured vendor selection processes to evaluate scalable technology enabled solutions.
  • Guide vendor and internal technical partners in configuring solutions aligned to enterprise workflow design.
  • Establish enterprise configuration standards to enable consistent deployment across sites.
  • Define enterprise performance measures and value validation frameworks for pilot phases.
  • Integrate vendor generated data with Compassus enterprise data to inform solution decisions.
  • Prioritize solution features based on measurable ROI and operational barrier removal, sequencing lower value enhancements appropriately.
  • Translate cross site pilot learnings into a standardized enterprise operating model.
  • Identify workflow efficiencies and recommend operating model adjustments that support scalability.
  • Partner with Execution and Deployment leadership to ensure architectural integrity through enterprise rollout.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in Business, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in operational transformation, workflow design, enterprise systems implementation, or management consulting.
  • Experience shaping vendor supported or internally developed technology enabled solutions.
  • Healthcare or multi-site service industry experience preferred.

Position Specific Skills

Analytical Skills: Ability to apply structured problem-solving methods, analyze complex workflow and performance data, and synthesize multiple data sources into actionable enterprise insights. Capable of evaluating return on investment, operational impact, and scalability considerations.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex operational and technical concepts clearly to executive leaders, operational stakeholders, and external partners. Skilled in preparing executive level presentations, business cases, and structured documentation.

Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Demonstrated systems thinking capability and ability to translate ambiguity into structured action. Ability to influence without direct authority and guide vendor and cross-functional partners toward enterprise aligned solutions. A professional presence that influences desired results with both external and internal stakeholders. Adaptable in dynamic environments requiring disciplined execution.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
