DuPont Performance Building Solutions is an industry leader of innovative building envelope products and technologies supporting the residential and commercial building construction markets.   To meet new and exciting challenges in a fast-growing business segment, an opportunity has arisen to join our technical marketing organization in Wilmington, DE

Responsibilities:

The focus of this position is technical marketing support of our existing North American products use in the field, specifically the ArmorWall™ Plus product line. The role includes responding to customer and distributor inquiries, development of new technical content supporting the use and benefits of our product lines, conducting hands on product training with customers and distribution partners, conducting field installation training and onsite jobsite observations, participating as team members for new product launches, and overall aid in the sales growth of our existing product line. A successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate themselves as the technical expert to sales professionals, distributors, customer and other internal/external partners by providing deep understanding of product applications, competitive products, installation guidance including warranty considerations, as well as understanding product limitations.
• Provide jobsite technical support with our distribution partners
• Help develop and assure accuracy of sales and marketing promotional literature
• Leverage technical knowledge of building envelope products and their applications to meet customer needs
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations to address the technical needs of the customer
• Ensure the quality of DuPont products is always aligned with customer expectations

Qualifications:

• Degree in technology related field, or a degree in building construction / construction related.
• Experience working directly with customers is strongly preferred.
• Experience within the commercial construction industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills are required.
• The work will involve moderate travel to development partners and construction job sites. (~30%)
