The International San Antonio Manufacturing Plant is a benchmark facility that builds leading-edge commercial vehicles to meet the needs of today’s – and tomorrow’s – customers. This facility has the flexibility to build Class 6-8 trucks along with Electric Vehicles that allow International to add capacity to support anticipated industry growth. Using the Internet of Things (IoT) and connected manufacturing principles, International's newest manufacturing facility will continue growing our market share gains, optimizing our supplier network and improving quality.

 

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planning Analyst to join our team!

 

The Maintenance Planning Analyst is responsible for planning and scheduling of preventative maintenance and work orders for all facilities and production equipment to enhance operational efficiency, optimize facility and equipment use, and ensure regulatory compliance. This includes coordination between maintenance, operations and engineering groups. The planner will also generate reports related to performance and downtime.

Additionally, the planner will manage all changes to preventative maintenance items and new equipment on the site, ensuring all relevant data is loaded and tracked in CMMS. The role requires technical expertise, project management skills, and a strong focus on cost control, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules, both long and short  term.
• Schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and production.
• Prioritize maintenance tasks based on criticality and impact on operations.
• Create, assign & manage work orders for maintenance tasks; track status of work orders ensuring timely completion.
• Coordinate with MRO to ensure necessary tools, parts and materials are available for maintenance activities.
• Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends, areas for improvement and potential issues.
• Prepare reports on maintenance performance, costs, downtime.
• Collaborate with Facilities Engineer, Maintenance Technicians and other stakeholders ensuring smooth and efficient maintenance operations.
• Stay up to date on industry best practices and regulations related to maintenance.
• Will serve as backup to Maintenance Management as needed for planning coverage.
• Use and understand maintenance practices and principles including both mechanical and electrical
• Use of Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management Software (EAMS)

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

OR

• At least 2 years of business development, strategy, marketing, finance, operations, engineering, or management consulting experience

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of trades/crafts in maintenance setting
• Understanding of data systems, data entry experience
• Understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Self-Driven
• Proven knowledge of maintenance procedures
• Understand budgeting of maintenance projects
• Understanding of Asset Performance Management (APM) principles like ISO 55000 is a plus
