Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Customer Quality Engineer for China and Taiwan
Job Description:
- Act as the primary quality representative for external customers, continuously improving customer satisfaction regarding Wolfspeed’s products, processes, and services.
- Manage and drive the timely resolution of customer quality issues by collaborating with Business Customer Quality Engineers (CQEs), business teams, failure analysis teams, factories, and other support functions.
- Serve as the main interface for your customers on technical evaluations of product returns; gather and assess customer failure descriptions while ensuring thoroughness in collaboration with local China Field Application Engineers (FAEs) and other CQE in Shenzhen.
- Align with Sales and Business teams to establish strategic directions that support customer quality requirements and objectives.
- Drive alignment on information and documentation of product quality related topics for customers.
- Promote the Company’s quality strategy, culture, and initiatives as critical business enablers through proactive customer engagement with our customers.
- Translate broad objectives into detailed action plans to achieve quality and business goals.
- Direct, manage and coordinate activities of cross-functional groups outside of the quality organization to achieve customer quality requirements.
Requirements:
- Master in Electrica Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related degree.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Management or Application Engineering.
- Knowledge in quality systems, semiconductor wafer fabrication, assembly and test operations or automotive applications.
- Good understanding of the global automotive business, customer requirements and end user behavior.
- The ability to operate in a fast pace, highly dynamic environment, at a detailed execution level, as well as on a tactical / strategic level.
- Excellent communication and project management skills in working with external customers as well as other internal groups, managers, etc.
- Demonstrated capability of interacting with senior leaders through the organization.
- Ability to work in large, complex, global environment.
Highly preferred skills and certifications:
- Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain critical deadlines, while utilizing meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other Associates, Senior Management and External Customers.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Goal oriented with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- Ability to work autonomously, with minimal direction, and are self-motivated and results-driven.
- Ability to analyze data/feedback and provide insights to continually improve processes.
- Good skills - verbally and in writing - English language.
- Ability to serve customers in Taiwan
