Job Description:
This job is responsible for defining an architectural vision and solution aligned to the enterprise architecture strategy, technology, and platform choices. Key responsibilities include describing the solution intent/associated operating environment, evaluating system impacts, determining the primary systems/sub-systems and their interfaces, and assisting with end-to-end solution design. Job expectations include defining non-functional requirements/architectural runway to support new epics/features and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose by working with stakeholders and service providers.
Plan Enterprise server deployments, On-premises and cloud-based. Configure platform authentication options. Monitor, maintain, and scale server deployments to satisfy business requirements. Automate server monitoring and maintenance tasks. Investigate and resolve complex server issues. Install and configure Power BI Report Server. Experience in migrating SSRS reports to Power BI platform. Perform server maintenance (backups, updates, restores, etc.). Monitor server performance and usage. Manage all sites, users, groups, and content. Troubleshoot production issues, expertise with software and tools to monitor server and application health, remediate server vulnerabilities, and production releases. Create site users and groups. Create projects and organize site content. Assign content permissions to users and groups. Monitor and maintain site metrics such as content usage, user activity, and scheduled tasks. Troubleshoot user issues within a site. Job Description Enterprise BI Platforms (EBIP) team is seeking a Power BI Architect and Administration expert to manage the Enterprise Power BI Platform. This role is responsible to design infrastructure, perform complex upgrades, capacity planning, monitor server performance and usage, deployments, and releases. Responsibilities: Required Skills Power BI Report Server architecture/administration Competent with Report Server and its metadata in SQL Server. Act as platform administrator for Power BI Automate application administration tasks and operating procedures. Proven advanced skill and experience with Power BI development and administration. Proficient with querying languages, such as ANSI-SQL, T-SQL Problem solving / troubleshooting experience /skills to assist Production Support in issue resolution. Proven ability to independently champion business intelligence principles with business owners, application owners, data analysts and DBAs Proven ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and documenting progress towards those deadlines. Excellent communication skills (must be able to interface with both technical and business leaders in the organization) Ability to be a self-starter that can provide leadership. Comprehensive understanding of the Agile Development process Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
