Demonstrates ability to safely assist with moving patients onto transport devices and to safely transport patient to designated destination. Appropriately responds to emergency situation transporting patients. Properly uses, stores, and cleans equipment. Independently receives dispatch for transport assignments and obtains needed equipment for Patient Transport.Completes assignments within designated timeframes and meets department productivity standards regarding monthly average time to complete assignments.Distributing medical equipment to and from CFH departments as scheduled.Performs basic maintenance tasks on medical equipment such as, but not limited to: sanitizing, equipment repair, and assessing need to replace and/or order additional equipment to support patient care operations.Floats as necessary between Clinical Support Services (CSS) and Hospitality departments based on workload needs to maintain efficient throughput.Works with leadership to complete project tasks for all CSS departments.Assists with flow of patients/visitors in Entryway Services (transport, wayfinding, or Visitor Management System).Serves as Safe Patient Handling resource, working at top of scope as expert in patient transport/safety equipment and safe patient movement.
