Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assists financial management with Clinical and Financial data and strategy; Lead the project team around data analysis and clinical and financial variation opportunities.
  • Revenue Reporting and Analytics; Support the Service Line and other revenue producing programs in revenue analytics.
  • Executive reporting, data management and analysis; Implement and maintain a process around executive reporting, data management and analysis with the objective to provide meaningful, timely and accurate data, across the Health System.
  • Incorporates the needs and requests of the specific DNs while achieving standardization wherever possible.
  • Ensure proper training of tools and adoption of metrics are coordinated effectively with leadership at all DNs.
  • Works with analytics vendor(s) to improve the product and partner on potential new endeavors.
  • The ability to work quickly and effectively, and pivot changing priorities from leadership.
  • Maintains a business leader approach with continual awareness of external and internal issues along with the knowledge of organizational needs and priorities.
  • Support other duties as required by Director of Clinical Financial Strategy or Financial Planning leadership.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or business related field. Masters or equivalent preferred.EXPERIENCE:Seven years of progressive experience in health care finance or similar healthcare administration experience.SPECIAL_SKILLS:Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to exercise creativity and initiative in making recommendations with the ability to influence the thinking of others. Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills and ability to deal effectively with all levels within the Organization. Knowledge of the hospital industry and health care environment required.

 

ACCOUNTABILITY:Manages the decision support and clinical financial analytics in accordance with the Director of Clinical Financial Strategy.

 

COMPLEXITY:Exercises frequent independent judgment and discretion in the performance of analytical and managerial duties. Makes effective recommendations relative to the Health System financial management processes
