Job Summary and Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders and speech-related difficulties in clients of all ages. This position involves developing individualized therapy plans and working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities
- Conduct swallowing evaluations and treatment, including videofluoroscopy
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Implement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies
- Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate and train clients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued progress
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and progress tracking
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Communication Disorders holding a Master's Degree or higher
- Current CA SLP license. Recent board-eligible graduates will be considered for provisional appointments.
- CFY candidates must apply at the conclusion of CFY (required for student supervision).
- Speech Language Pathologist: CA (SLP: CA)
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
- Fire Safety card required. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)
