Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country’s most challenging technical problems.    All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship.  

Position Overview

Primarily responsible for the identification/development of technology solutions for clients using company products, outsourced technology solutions and/or proprietary tools/techniques that others implement. Defines client needs and develops a plan and proposal for delivery of the project. Viewed by customers as a consultant. Performance is typically evaluated based on the capture of the consulting engagement and/or utilization, (i.e., billable hours).

Responsibilities

Works on issues that impact program success or addresses future concepts and products. Solutions are devised based on limited information and requires judgment. Implementation of solutions requires a longer-term view which impacts strategic goals and objectives. Results impact multiple functions. Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Creates formal networks with key decision makers and widely recognized as expert and thought leader by both internal and external community. Serves as external spokesperson for the organization.

Qualifications

A minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor�s degree, 12 years with a Master�s degree, a PhD with 8 years� experience, or equivalent experience is typically required for an employee at this level.
