Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and adaptable program representative to work directly with the supply chain management team.  In this role you will support high-impact initiatives across the Supply Chain organization.  This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is comfortable taking on assignments that support the organizations strategic priorities. This position requires an individual who is comfortable navigating both strategic and tactical responsibilities, with a flexible mindset to take on projects as assigned by leadership. 

  • Collaborate directly with Supply Chain leadership on strategy and execution of special projects
  • Execute/support cross-functional initiatives involving Supply Chain; identify and coordinate internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Manage and support a variety of high-priority projects, often with evolving goals and timelines
  • Coordinate and communicate project updates to internal and external leadership
  • Serve as a key liaison between leadership, the Supply Chain organization and other departments, ensuring clear and timely communication
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
  • Communicate priority across Supply Chain and to external support organizations
  • Understand upstream activities ability to support department requirements
  • Elevate concerns, communicate upstream activity delays, and establish mitigating actions to reduce or eliminate enterprise impact
  • Block Buy strategy coordination including developing basis of estimates, schedule integration, and work with Program Office, Program Finance, and Program Planning for establishing budget, EAC, activity load, progressing, and maintaining / meeting manning plans
  • Oversee functional areas within the organization (Material Availability Team, Demand Planning, Materials Services, and Buying) from planned work awareness, material requirements, requisitioning, request for quotes, bid review, supplier selection, negotiations, and purchase order execution
  • Elevate material concerns, communicate upstream activity delays, and establish advance release strategies for on time material ordering
  • Identify and elevate future material schedule support concerns and proactively work with Supply Chain, program office, planning and etc to develop mitigation opportunities
  • Support content development and communication of activity status to executive leadership, Program Office, the Industrial Base and the Navy during executive briefs, quarterly production performance conferences (QPPC), breakfast clubs, Industrial Base conferences, among other reporting functions
  • Interpret KPI’s, identifying performance trends and uncover underlying issues strategizing and executing on opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience within Supply Chain or Program Management, Material Management, or Planning
  • Experience within or directly working with supply chain organization, knowledge of Supply Chain areas of responsibility
  • Applicant must possess or be able to secure secret or higher DOD clearance

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior Program Office and/or project management experience
  • Degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain
