Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

  • The OCONUS Operations Manager will support the SURTASS Operations Manager and FST Manager in the execution of day-to-day operations and shall:
    • Assist managing the staffing, qualifying, training, operations, and organizational and intermediate level maintenance execution of the O&M crews and SURTASS mission systems.
    • Execute the contractor Operations, Maintenance, and Training IMS.
  • Oversee the execution of organizational and intermediate level maintenance.
  • Conduct periodic audits, inspections, and reviews of operations, maintenance, and associated reports.
  • This position will not involve corporate operations work and interface, as the SURTASS Operations Manager shall be solely focused on crew support to the government.
  • Generate reports for SURTASS mission systems status as directed by the Government.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or 10 years' relevant field experience and DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III certification
  • U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Ten years of documented experience in managing technical teams executing operations and maintenance on Navy C4I systems and/or acoustic intelligence gathering systems
  • Ten years' experience managing personnel

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $94,400.00/Yr. - USD $157,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
