Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Imaging Tech, you will perform a variety of advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures across diverse imaging modalities, under the general direction of departmental leadership.Every day, you will expertly operate complex imaging equipment, precisely execute imaging protocols, and meticulously monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures.To be successful in this role, you will skillfully produce high-quality diagnostic images, collaborate effectively with the medical team, and steadfastly advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes within the imaging environment.
- Job Specific Functions
- Ensures a safe environment related to equipment, bed/cart rails, patient's mental status.
- Provides education that includes explanation and rationale for all test, equipment and procedures explaining to patient prior to performance.
- Allows control and choices over situations and environment as appropriate to condition and situation.
- Allows for cultural and religious beliefs in providing services.
- Observes for signs of abuse/neglect.
Job Requirements
Minimum:
- 1. Successful completion of a fullyaccredited (full accreditation means thetraining program is accredited through theCommission on Accreditation of AlliedHealth Education Programs (CAAHEP) ora similar, nationally recognized,accrediting agency), training program inthe pertinent modality for which theemployee is being hired. 2. Successfuland valid registration/certification by anationally recognized accrediting agency;in the specific modality for which theemployee was hired. 3. One or more yearsof experience in the specific modality forwhich the candidate is being considered.4. Modality specific advanced levelregistry must be obtained within twelvemonths of hire date. 5. Should any of theabove requirements (completion of theprogram or achievingregistration/certification) not be obtained,in the specified timeframe, a single threemonth extension may be considered andgranted at the discretion of themanagement., upon hire and

- Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
