Responsibilities

Provide patient care in accordance with philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.  Works under the guidance of physicians and advanced practitioners in the medical office setting.  Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), Clinical Leadership, and Scope of Practice after competency is established.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

1. One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.3. Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.
