Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience working as a Pharmacy Technician

Licensure, Registration, Certification: 

Current registry with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy

One of the following:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• National Healthcareer Association (NHA)

Other: 

Must obtain within 6 months of placement and maintain the following Infirmary Health Pathways:

• Sterile Compounding and Aseptic Technique Pathway
• Controlled Substance Pathway
• Inventory Management Pathway

Responsibilities

Provides leadership to a healthcare team to deliver comprehensive, quality service for a designated group of customers.
