Overview

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing and expanding the strategy, operations, and partnerships that power EIM’s national clinical procurement and placement services. The VP, Clinical Placement and Growth  will own the vision and execution for scalable operations, high-value clinical partner relationships, and contract strategy that supports innovation and growth in clinical education services across multiple healthcare disciplines.

 

The ideal candidate brings a combination of operational rigor, business development acumen in the healthcare space, and deep knowledge of clinical education management systems. They will work closely with internal teams, senior academic leaders, external clinical partners and higher education clients to elevate EIM’s impact on student clinical success and health system readiness.

Responsibilities

  • This is a remote position
  • Strategic Leadership & Operations

    • Lead the end-to-end strategy and execution of clinical education services across all partner programs and multiple healthcare disciplines.
    • Create scalable and efficient systems for clinical site procurement, student placement, data management, and partner engagement.
    • Collaborate with academic leaders and EIM internal stakeholders to ensure clinical education services, timelines, and milestones align with accreditation requirements and program goals.
    • Support University Partner clients (Program Directors and clinical faculty) with new program development, launch, and management of clinical services, ensuring clinical outcomes are met.
    • Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and technology infrastructure to ensure efficient operations and support long-term scalability of the clinical education function.
    • Oversee accurate collection, analysis, and reporting of placement and procurement data to inform data-driven decision-making, support internal dashboards, and ensure compliance with external accreditation requirements.
    • Collaborate on self-studies, accreditation narratives, and site visit preparation in partnership with program leadership and faculty.
    • Establish regular reporting cadences and feedback loops to drive continuous improvement across internal teams and partner programs.

     

    Growth Strategy & Partnership Management

    • Lead the identification, negotiation, and execution of new clinical partnerships aligned with EIM’s growth strategy in graduate healthcare education.
    • Represent EIM’s clinical education services to external stakeholders and prospective partners by delivering high-impact presentations and strategy, solution-oriented proposals that support growth and long-term collaboration.
    • Develop, maintain, and expand strategic relationships across academic, health system, and professional partner networks to strengthen collaboration and advance shared outcomes.
    • Collaborate with marketing, business development, and operations leaders to lead the development of a clinical sales strategy that expands EIM’s network of affiliated sites in key growth disciplines.
    • Develop, lead, and execute EIM’s ‘Fee for Service’ product line for clinical placement and procurement services, partnering with the business development team to drive client acquisition and service expansion.
    • Work with leadership to drive EIM’s “Student to Specialist” model by maximizing placements that lead to residency or certification opportunities in the post-professional division.

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in higher education, clinical placement, or business development in healthcare or related field.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams, managing complex projects, and executing against ambitious timelines.
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and executive communication.
  • Experience in developing scalable systems and leading large-scale operational teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on persuasive presentation and clear reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically and act tactically.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced, evolving environments.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in Nursing or Physician Assistant fields
  • Master’s degree or advanced training in healthcare, education, or business.
  • 10+ years of direct people management experience with a focus on coaching and professional development.
  • Familiarity with higher education accreditation processes, including narrative development and documentation.
  • Experience with CRM and student information systems
  • Deep understanding of clinical education models and site management logistics.
