Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Demo Specialist to showcase Mitchell's industry-leading auto physical damage solutions to collision repair shops. This role combines technical product expertise with sales support and cross-functional collaboration, requiring someone who can effectively demonstrate complex software solutions while providing valuable insights to both our sales organization and product development teams.

You'll be demonstrating Mitchell's comprehensive suite of solutions including:
- Mitchell Cloud Estimating - Body shop estimating and appraisal software for all vehicle types
- Mitchell Cloud Repair - Cloud-based repair order management and production solutions
- Mitchell RepairCenter - End-to-end repair management platform
- Intelligent Solutions - AI-powered damage analysis and estimating tools
- Specialty Vehicle Solutions - Estimating for motorcycles, ATVs, commercial trucks, and more
Key Responsibilities
Demo Delivery & Presentation
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations via Zoom, WebEx, and other virtual platforms
- Present Mitchell's solutions to diverse audiences including body shop owners, internal employees, and fleet managers
- Customize demonstrations to highlight features most relevant to each prospect's business needs
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of all Mitchell products and their competitive advantages
Sales Support & Analytics
- Provide constructive feedback to sales representatives on demo quality and effectiveness
- Generate comprehensive demo reports in Salesforce including:
- Close ratios and conversion metrics
- Demo attendance tracking
- Annual Contract Value (ACV) closed attribution
- Collaborate with sales teams to optimize demo strategies and improve conversion rates
Product Development Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and UX teams to provide market feedback
- Document customer pain points, feature requests, and competitive insights gathered during demonstrations
- Participate in product roadmap discussions and beta testing programs
- Translate customer needs into actionable product enhancement recommendations
Internal Training & Communication
- Present new product features and benefits to internal teams including Sales, Customer Success, and Support
- Conduct training sessions on upcoming product releases and enhancements
- Create and maintain demo scripts and presentation materials for new features
- Serve as subject matter expert for product capabilities across the organization
Travel & Field Engagement
- Represent Mitchell at industry trade shows and conferences
- Conduct on-site demonstrations at collision repair facilities
- Support field sales activities with in-person product presentations
- Travel requirements: approximately 25-30% (regional and national)
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Salesforce - Proficient in CRM management, reporting, and data analysis
- Microsoft Teams & Outlook - Advanced user for communication and scheduling
- Zoom - Expert-level presentation and webinar hosting capabilities
- Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software platforms
Professional Experience
- 2+ years in technical sales, product demonstrations, or customer-facing roles
- Experience with B2B software solutions preferred
- Collision industry experience a plus - familiarity with body shop operations, estimating processes, insurance workflows, or automotive repair procedures
- Proven track record of meeting performance metrics and KPIs
- Experience collaborating with product development teams preferred

- Focus and Attention for extended periods during lengthy demonstrations, training sessions, and detailed product analysis
- Talking in Person during trade shows, customer visits, internal meetings, and presentations
- Talking by Phone for customer calls, sales team coordination, and stakeholder communications
- Hearing in Person to effectively engage with customers, colleagues, and audiences during presentations and meetings
- Hearing by Phone for clear communication during virtual demonstrations, conference calls, and customer interactions
- Vision: Computer Monitor for extended periods while conducting software demonstrations, creating reports, analyzing data, and developing presentation materials

Benefits eligibility may differ depending on full-time or part-time status. Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $65,500 - $77,500 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
