Center for Animal Health is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our practice!
Center for Animal Health is a well-established, full-service, small animal, a veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, preventative, surgical, and dental care to the Wauwatosa, West Allis, and Milwaukee areas. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local board specialists when special diagnostic procedures are required. Our facility includes laser therapy, an in-house surgery suite, in-house digital x-ray capabilities, and a closely supervised hospitalization area.
Compensation:
$18 - $19/hour
Hospital Hours:
Monday 10:00am - 4:00pm, Tuesday 8:00am - 7:00pm, Wednesday
8:00am - 7:00pm, Thursday 8:00am - 7:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 1:00pm and closed on Sunday.
Schedule: 4 day work week, 2 Saturdays/month required.

Job Summary: The Veterinary Assistant aids and supports the medical support team in the operation of an animal facility in accordance with Mission Pet Health (MPH) hospital policy and procedures. The Veterinary Assistant also provides medical care to patients as allowed in the veterinary practice act.
