Overview

This position is located at the Steel Fab Facility in Florence, S.C.

 

The Supervisor of Planning - Site will be responsible for all Planning and Manufacturing efforts at the D779 Offsite Maintenance and Modernization Program Office at Strategic Partner SteelFab.

• Maintain a safety first/first time quality lifestyle in both the manufacturing & planning groups.
• Manage shop supervision to ensure safety/quality/schedule/cost are aligned
• Ensure the detail planning group is meeting/exceeding quality of work paper and schedule demands.
• Work with D355 Planning on all new construction issues.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of manufacturing/shipboard trades experience
• 5+ years of planning experience, both new construction and delivered ships.
• Current holder of a secret (or above) level security clearance

Preferred:

• Previous Supervisory/Leadership experience
• Naval experience
• Ability to travel if required.

Skills

• Detail and production Control experience.
• Working knowledge of Artemis and Team Center
• Excellent blue print reading skills.
• Strong background in Welding/NDT
• Strong interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong MRP/PCM skills.
