For more than 50 years, St. Anthony North Hospital has delivered optimal health care to the communities of Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn and Thornton. Highlights of our campus include 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, ambulatory surgery center, birthing center with private birthing suites, Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services. This is an intermediate level position that performs all entry level job functions in the Health Information Management Department. A qualified applicant is expected to perform quantitative analysis and re-analyzes records for completion.

Perform quality control measures on scanned documents to ensure the integrity of the image is legible, and displayed accurately. Correctly assign deficiencies in accordance to Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations. The Tech II applicant is also required to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of protected health information and adhere to the policies that govern the Health Information Management department. A successful applicant actively seeks to promote and help maintain a professional, team-oriented, service-conscious environment, which contributes to the goals of the department and reflects on the values of the system.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• 2 years of HIM or related experience working in an electronic health record OR completion of an HIM accredited program required
• Proficient in medical terminology required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office application and troubleshooting computer required.
• Demonstrate advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and troubleshooting computer problems.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate's Degree, Preferred. Enrolled in a related healthcare degree program preferred
• RHIT or RHIA certification, Preferred

Physical Requirements - Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
