The Opportunity  

This position works out of our Lake Forest, IL location in Abbott Rapid Diagnostics. This role is on-site daily and not remote.

As the GTM Project Manager, your primary role will be driving launch excellence of key product initiatives through collaboration with cross-functional teams across the Infectious Disease portfolio globally.  It’ll be critical to understand the markets we are aiming to serve, partner with both regional and global teams, and build relationships to bridge knowledge gaps and influence change without authority.  Doing so will result in helping to serve a very broad community of patients globally and serve a greater healthcare need. 

What You’ll Work On 

  • Lead commercialization/launch strategy, planning, and execution for priority NPI programs
  • Own and facilitate the monthly NPI/Go-To-Market (GTM) Review with ELT DVPs and Global Commercial VPs, aligning on forecast assumptions that feed into S&OP demand planning.  
  • Manage commercialization and launch readiness deliverables across the phase-gate process, ensuring market access, pricing, and launch readiness are embedded early in development.  
  • Act as the primary liaison between PMO, R&D, Regulatory, Global Strategic Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial teams to ensure strategic alignment and launch preparedness.  
  • Identify and mitigate commercialization risks to reduce time from regulatory approval to first sale.  
  • Develop and maintain executive-level reporting tools and dashboards to track commercialization progress.  
  • Own, oversee, and continuously improve the Go-To-Market framework for ID, integrating it into NPI processes; lead GTM phase gate reviews to ensure ELT alignment on strategy and execution. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years of related work experience
  • Solid global product launch and/or training experience required
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, ideally healthcare
  • Solid commercial financial acumen (demand forecasting, building sales funnels, monitoring lead/lag measures, etc.)
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills, and comfortable with presenting to leadership
  • Organized and careful attention to detail
  • Ability to travel 30% ​including globally if required

Preferred Qualifications 

  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Commercial financial acumen (demand forecasting, building sales funnels, monitoring lead/lag measures, etc.)
  • Global Product Launch experience
  • Commercial Sales, Training, or Marketing experience
  • Operations, Quality, Regulatory experience
  • Professional and Consumer Healthcare product experience
  • Smartsheet, MS Project, and Power BI experience or related Master Data capability

The base pay for this position is

$127,300.00 – $254,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
