Responsible for the overall nightly Logistics Operations which encompasses the Distribution and Central Supply departments. Interim oversite of the Linen department as needed. Assess and prioritize work assignments according to departmental as well as facility needs. Verify availability and proper distribution of medical supplies, equipment and delivery thereof. Monitor and directly involved with Prime Vendor receiving processes, as well as staff interactions.The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job. The incumbent may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below. In addition, specific functions may change from time to time:
Learn and perform every task within the Logistics Departments
Review technician daily assignment schedule
Assess and resolve problems that may arise and communicate resolutions to Management team
Utilize inventory management system to ensure ongoing QA assessments are complete and accurate
Ensure adequate medical supplies and/or equipment are available for department’s ability to meet the needs of this facility
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to Distribution and CS employees regarding conduct, attitude and ability to perform required standards
Perform daily routine tasks that such as supply delivery, medication delivery, inventory par location QA checks, par location inventories, par location sanitation, stat courier dispatch, inventory put away
Actively involved in receiving inbound processes and productivity metrics associated with receiving
Other duties as assigned
The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid North Carolina driver’s license which will be verified by Risk Management for inclusion in CFV vehicle insurance required
1 year experience within Supply Chain required
1 year warehousing, inventory or production experience preferred
Ability to read, write, speak, do basic arithmetic, and speak fluent English
Ability to follow written as well as verbal instructions and communicate these instructions when necessary
Motor coordination and manual dexterity to coordinate the receiving, processing, and issuing of patient supplies and equipment
Good organization, communicative and leadership skills
Ability to see, hear and speak clearly
Capable of withstanding fatigue associated with continuous walking and standing while transporting a load via manual equipment such as a pallet jack, rolling cart, hand truck, etc.
Capable of delivering supplies and repeatedly lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, pushing carts with rolling weight of up to 400 pounds and using pallet jack to move pallets of products weighing up to 2,000 pounds
